Whether your goal is to improve your child's strength, coordination, confidence, and communication skills, or simply teach them the value of working towards achievable goals, Mauricio Alonso BJJ's Kids with Special Needs Martial Arts program can help your child along their journey.
Working closely with families with children with special needs across Newark, we realize the tremendous financial costs and time put into various therapies needed to strengthen their abilities. We are determined to make a positive impact using jiu jitsu and other martial arts to promote inclusion, awareness, and empowerment to those with special needs with no financial burden to the families served. This is a free class for children with special needs and parents are welcome to join in the class.

From day one, our priority is to help our students with special needs develop physically as well as emotionally. We want to teach important life skills in a fun, supportive environment. Parents and volunteers are welcome.
